Access Committee Environmental Audit
River
Garry
The
River Garry was audited in February 2001 as part of the trial of
the environmental audit developed by the SCA Access Committee.
The
river, in Invernes-shire, sees a high usage by kayakers and occasional
canoeists in the summer period, but only on the one day a week when
there is a release of water from the dam.
The
report consists of a map, summary, a full report over 4 Sections
and a conclusion. Photographs are a key part of the report and small
images are included in the body of the report to reduce page load
time. Click on the image to see the larger image. Place the mouse
pointer over the image to read the description of the image.
Comments
on the report are encouraged. Email the SCA
Access Officer.
Future
audits are planned and volunteers should contact the SCA
Access Officer for a copy of the Method to follow.
