The current Foot and Mouth epidemic is something that will affect not only canoeing but almost all outdoor activities for a good while. Our future as a sport relies on our not only acting in a responsible manner but being seen to do so. There has been a considerable amount of information published and discussion of the topic with policy statements being issued by not only the BCU and the SCA but by government and many other sports governing bodies as well. The purpose of these pages is to provide you with visibility of the various statements that have been made and where you can obtain further information if required. This is undoubtedly something that is going to be an ever changing situation for the foreseable future so as new information is available, it will be published here. |
