£20,250 in Awards.
Open
to any sportsperson under 18 (on 1 September 2001) from any
sport. Entry is by nomination, which can be accepted from
Schools, Colleges and Sports Clubs.
The main award (£1750, plus £3000 sponsorship over one year)
will be presented to the young person who, in the opinion
of the judges, has done most to maximise his or her potential
in their chosen sport and who would most benefit from an OCS
Group Sponsorship.

Entries
are welcome from anyone with a special talent for sport, including
those young people who compete with disabilities. There are
also regional awards and an award to purchase sports equipment
made to the body that nominates the National Winner. Awards
will be presented in December 2001.
The
closing date for nominations is 30 July 2001.
