The
SCA Surf Technical Committee have included here a number of mission
statements.
These
are our longer term goals, out of which our objectives (achievable within
three years ) are drawn.
- There will be an
established procedure for all main aspects of safety associated with
the sport of surfing in the SCA.
- The SCA and Scotland
will be seen consistently as one of the top three Surf Canoe nations
in the world, both within Scotland and internationally.
- The competition results
will show consistent top placings and wins in all classes.
- There will be maximum
opportunity to participate in competition.
- We will provide a
structure to support progression, leading to success at the highest
level.
- There will be a
national network that supports competitive canoeing, with access to
structured coaching at all levels.
- There will be a full
provision of finance and resources.
- We will collaborate
with other areas of our sport to ensure the continued development of
surf as a whole.
- There will be full
public awareness of our sport.
