Check in at the Lowport Centre, Blackness Road, Linlithgow at 12:00. First paddlers start at 13:00

Races will take normally take place on the Union Canal starting from Linlithgow Basin. On occasions where the canal is unavailable the race will be held on Linlithgow Loch providing the weather conditions permit.

Individual start times are set on a handicap basis with the fastest paddlers setting of last so that all paddlers return at approximately the same time.

The long course is intended for any paddlers who would normally race in Long or Short Course events and is between 4 and 5 miles. The Shorter course is intended for novice paddlers and is approximately 2.5 miles.
