hi Dave,

you are just down the road from me, I'm in Powmill on the A977.

I've nothing planned between now and Xmas (then flat water solo tour over several days, definately not OC1 territory!).

I'm quite new to this, though used to paddle Gd4 kayak a lot of years ago. if you have something in the pipe line that is not too desperate give me a call. 01577 840430.

Hi Tony
If there is no water I usually do a bit of practise on flat to tidy up my strokes ,I used to kayak years ago but when I started opencanoeing I had to spend a wee bit time refineing my strokes, I contacted Bob Foote in the States who recommended a lot of flat water to develop smooth technique ,he still does flat water traing even though he has been at it for years .
This Sunday I will possibly head to the Stirling Uni pond or up to the bottom end of Loch Lubnig I will give you a phone on Friday if you fancy going .
Cheers Dave

Tony you will find these contacts very usefull Yahoo opencanoes. and Cboats net
