Islander perform extensively at weddings, corporate functions, festivals and benefits and have the distinction of playing on three consecutive years for St Andrews night in Baku, Azerbaijan!

Islander was formed in 1995 and features:
Rebecca Knorr (flute, whistles). Originally from the USA, Rebecca has made Scotland her home since 1986. She is a member of Calluna, a four-piece band combining clarsach, cello, flute, fiddle and vocals. Their debut CD, Calluna, is on the Mill Record Label. Dianne Newman (Caller) Dianne is a clear and energetic caller in ceilidh dances for beginners and experts alike. She has performed internationally as part of the dance troupe Clann Na N'Gael. Anne-Marie Walsh (drums, percussion). Anne-Marie's plays in a variety of settings, from ceilidhs to rock venues. Paul Newman (guitar, keyboards, vocals). A well respected session musician, Paul has played for a number of established bands including, the internationally renowned Boys of the Lough. Tim O'Leary (fiddle). Born in Dublin, Tim has also performed with The Boys of the Lough and with After Hours, in addition to co-founding several bands. Tim performs regularly as a solo artist with a variety of backing bands.
