Andy Jackson - SCA Access Officer

It is with the deepest regret and sadness that the SCA announces that Andy Jackson has died suddenly.

Everyone at the SCA is deeply shocked and saddened at the sudden death of Andy Jackson.  Our thoughts are still with Bridget and all of Andy's family.

A Memorial and Thanks Giving Service for the life of Andy was held on Monday 13 December after a family funeral.  There was a huge turnout from the paddling world to pay their respects and to give their support to Andy's family at this difficult time.

A retiring offering was taken, the proceeds of which will be split equally between the SCA Access Fund and Community Action Nepal, the proceeds from the sale of the Scottish Whitewater Guide are also going to the Access Fund.  If anyone still wishes to make a donation, please contact the SCA office.

A fuller tribute to Andy will appear in Scottish Paddler and here in due course.
