Roy

The famous pourover ledge in the Roy Gorge exists no longer. The bedrock has changed and there is instead a steep funnel which goes at Grade III. Just downstream of here there is a nasty looking obstruction in the main channel, maybe a tree stump, so be on guard. A new tree has also fallen into the river just upstream of the last rapid, 'gates of the gorge'. Just now it is passable with care but if it moves from its current position it may block the river completely
