Access 2000. Issues relating to countryside access

Leny

Paddlers should use the main car park half way down the river or the car parking in the laybys above the top bridge, which allows for a warm up first. Try to avoid the Ben Ledi car park which causes congestion.

Forest Enterprise are planning to close the car-park at the get-in the the near future, in an effort to reduce the pressure from walkers on Ben Ledi. Although a replacement car park for walkers is likely on the other side of the mountain, this won't help paddlers. The SCA are discussing the matter with Forest Enterprise and hopefully a parking solution for padders will be found.
